Platinum Print Examples.

It's long overdue that I actually post some examples of my early platinum printing efforts. These prints were produced for an exhibition in the summer of 2009. The (frankly terrible) scans really don't do justice to the actual prints themselves. It's notoriously difficult to capture a platinum print's subtle tonal range and the completely matte quality of the print's surface with a flatbed scanner.

You'll just have to take my word for it, but in real life the highlights of these prints glow and the midtones fade into shadows that have an almost edible texture. Scanning a platinum print really robs it of the qualities that make it special, but I'll post these here to satisfy those of you that are interested in the process.
